Dr. Andrew See

Dr. Andrew See is a local medical graduate who, after obtaining his Radiation Oncology qualifications in 2000, gained further experience at the Fox Chase Cancer centre in Philadelphia.

During his training, he developed (sub-discipline) expertise in the management of breast and genitourinary malignancies and was also involved with a number of research initiatives that have led to publications.

Since 2005 Dr. See has bridged both a private/public, metropolitan/provincial environment running a busy private practice though the Epworth group, in addition to holding a senior role at the Ballarat Austin Radiation Oncology Centre (BAROC) at St John of God private hospital in Ballarat.

In January of 2013, Dr. See was appointed as the director of clinical radiation research at the Epworth Hospital and is currently involved in the implementation of advanced radiation technologies. He has a commitment to ensure that each patient’s journey occurs in a seamless, well-informed, caring and supported environment.

Dr. Andrew See has also recently had an article published in The Age regarding his research with breathing techniques and radiation treatment.
